We work together with lawyers qualified in their respective fields of specialization and licensed in their jurisdictions of practice to provide clients with seamless, integrated representation. While our particular focus is on U.S. and Brazil-related transactions, we are global-minded professionals, adept at advising clients with international legal and business needs.
Assisting Foreign Clients Doing Business in Brazil

We are able to offer such firms, which do not have an office in Brazil or which may not have in-depth experience working on Brazil-based transactions the advantage of the working with U.S. lawyers in Brazil, who understand the Brazilian legal, business and cultural environment, and who have in-depth experience working on Brazil-based transactions and effectively interfacing with Brazilian lawyers.
In such cases, we become the U.S. law firm’s outsourced office in Brazil, allowing the firm to provide its client with seamless representation in a highly efficient and cost effective manner, delivered by an integrated team of experienced U.S. and Brazilian lawyers able to provide the client with the full range of legal advice and services needed to effectively negotiate and complete its Brazil-related transaction.
In connection with such representations, the law firm becomes our client, with a Fidelis lawyer representing the firm in Brazil, acting exclusively on the firm’s behalf in connection with such matter. The law firm’s client remains the client of the law firm, but benefits from The Fidelis Law Group’s unique capacity to function as such firm’s representative office in Brazil.
The Fidelis Law Group also indicates Brazilian law firms or independent lawyers which are part our network of Brazilian lawyers to represent the clients of U.S. law firms involved in Brazil-related transactions. Lawyers from The Fidelis Law Group’s network work seamlessly with the lawyers from the U.S. law firm representing such client, or as the case may be, Fidelis lawyers engaged to represent such firm in Brazil. In either case, the client receives the Brazilian legal advice its needs, delivered in an integrated, efficient and cost effective manner.
Assisting Brazilian Law Firms with U.S.-Related Transactions
The Fidelis Law Group often assists Brazilian law firms whose clients are doing business in the U.S. or involved in a transaction with a U.S.-based company. Rather than engaging a U.S. law firm to represent its client in connection with such matter, the Brazilian law firm can engage a Fidelis lawyer to advise the firm with respect to U.S. legal issues. This approach allows Brazilian law firms to offer their clients the U.S. legal advice they need to effectively structure and negotiate their U.S.-related transaction within a “one firm” integrated model. Our U.S. lawyers work with the Brazilian law firm in a smooth and integrated fashion to provide the Brazilian client involved in a U.S.-related transaction with the legal advice needed to maximize the client’s business opportunities and minimize its legal risks.
